This notice explains how Mindlace Industries Ltd uses personal information when somebody applies for, signs or completes a paid KOTS assignment. It applies alongside the main KOTS privacy policy.
Last updated 12 July 2026
Mindlace Industries Ltd, trading as KOTS, is the data controller. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 13905733, with a registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
Send a privacy question, rights request or reasonable-adjustment request to hello@killersonthestreet.com.
A weekly report is required and paid. You may use voice, text or a live call. Voice is optional as a format. We do not infer or score accent, emotion, appearance or biometric traits.
KOTS uses a custom-built hiring and staff-support system with AI. It organises your application answers, runs the simulated store interview and prepares evidence summaries for reviewers. For a completed interview, a separate assessment can suggest Hire or Do not hire against the published job criteria, with supporting quotes. This is advice for the reviewer, can be wrong and does not decide the application. Missing evidence is flagged for review. Automation manages invitations, reminders, contract administration and onboarding, and reconciles records. Interview audio and transcripts are private recruitment evidence. The simulation does not score your performance.
A named person reviews the source evidence and makes progression, offer and rejection decisions. Conduct, extension and termination decisions also remain with a person. Knowing our hiring criteria does not authorise the system to make these decisions on its own.
During an assignment, the system uses your check-ins and recorded activity to suggest practical training, flag unresolved concerns and prepare programme reports. Follow-up feedback helps us check whether the advice worked. A staff reply is not an automatic instruction to change your pay, contract or employment status.
You may ask for an explanation, correct evidence, contest an outcome, request another human review or ask for a reasonable adjustment. Reply to your recruitment email or contact hello@killersonthestreet.com. Tell us which application or assignment and what needs reviewing; you do not need to include sensitive documents in the first message. Raising a concern will not count against your application or assignment.
We use contracted providers only where needed for the stated purposes, including:
We may also disclose information to a regulator, court, law-enforcement body or other person where law requires it or a legal claim makes it necessary.
Some providers process information outside the United Kingdom. We use an applicable UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with appropriate security measures.
We may keep a record longer where a dispute, investigation, legal hold or statutory duty requires it. When a period ends, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the information.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to processing. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Exercising a right will not count against an application or assignment.
